The District of West Kent joins our colleagues in East Kent in mourning the loss of a highly respected and much loved Past Inspector General. Our thoughts and prayers are with our Brethren in East Kent, and with Tony’s family at this difficult time.![]()

We are deeply saddened to report the passing of Very Illustrious Brother Thomas Anthony (Tony) Denne, 33°, Past Inspector General of the District of East Kent, following his lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.![]()

The District of East Kent has much for which to be grateful to V. Ill. Bro. Tony during his ten-year tenure as Inspector General from 2008 to 2018. During that time the District flourished as a warm, friendly and positive place, guided by his characteristically happy style of leadership.![]()

His broad smile, kindness and generosity of spirit were known and valued by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.![]()

Another excellent evening in the District, this time visiting Westwood Chapter No. 764 at Oakley House, Bromley for a Perfection ceremony.![]()

Warm congratulations to Perry Godwin, the District’s newest Prince Rose Croix 👑🌹❌, following an impressive ceremony. My thanks and appreciation also go to all the Officers of the Chapter whose contributions ensured the ceremony was conducted with such dignity and precision 🙏![]()

It was also a pleasure to present 18° certificates to José Veronez and Andrew Mallard, certificates which, like our Order itself, are simply beautiful and mark an important milestone in a Brother’s journey 📜![]()

I was also pleased to take part in the ceremony by conducting the Accolade, sealing the Candidate with the Money Chapter ring. Money Chapter, first established in Rawalpindi, Northern India in 1878, has a long and distinguished history, and it is always a privilege to use its ring on such occasions. In a small but meaningful way, the use of the ring across the District helps to create a quiet bond between our Chapters.![]()
