September may seem a little way off…![]()

They begin during the quieter weeks beforehand.![]()
A page read again.![]()
A passage understood a little more clearly.![]()
A few minutes spent preparing.![]()
Small moments today often become memorable ceremonies tomorrow.![]()

Progress in Rose Croix is rarely measured by how quickly we move.![]()
It is measured by what we learn along the way.![]()
The summer months give each of us an opportunity to reflect, to prepare and perhaps to revisit something we had overlooked before.![]()
What are you hoping to gain from the coming season?![]()

A ritual book is far more than words printed on a page.![]()
It tells the story of our ceremonies…![]()
but, over time, it also becomes part of our own story.![]()
Every member opens it with different experiences, different questions and different hopes.![]()
Perhaps that is why the same page can mean something entirely different a year later.![]()
Have you opened your ritual book recently?![]()
You may discover something today that you didn’t notice before.![]()

The Chapter rooms may be quieter during the summer months, but our journey does not pause.![]()
Sometimes the greatest understanding comes not during a ceremony, but afterwards… while reflecting on what we have seen, heard and experienced.![]()
Whether you joined this year or many years ago, your journey continues.![]()
What first drew you to Rose Croix?![]()
Has that answer changed over time?![]()

Today we said our final farewells to Ill. Bro. Geoffrey Kemp 31° at St Margaret’s Church in the beautiful village of Halstead.![]()
It was a fitting and well-attended service, with heartfelt tributes from Geoffrey’s family and from his Rose Croix Chapter, each reflecting the affection and respect in which he was held.![]()
I learned today that Geoffrey was born on Primrose Day in 1930, and it seemed somehow fitting that, throughout his long life, he quietly brought warmth, kindness and friendship to so many around him.![]()
Geoffrey’s presence will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.![]()
May he rest in eternal peace.![]()
Requiescat in Pace.![]()
